what we do

SCCABO Program Services Area_edited.jpg

A community's greatest asset is its people.

We lift up the voices of residents by supporting them as change agents.

Inspired by the evidence-based Purpose Built Communities model for neighborhood revitalization, we empower residents with knowledge and tools to shape the future of their cherished community.

Targeted  primary census tracts are: 649.02 and 651.24, with sister census tract 651.23, as a secondary target which includes the following primary neighborhoods:

  • Powell subdivision - Connie McClary & Natasha Willis

  • Gramling Park - Dorothy Linson & Patricia Pearson

  • Booker Heights - Pat Kelly

  • Briarwood Park - Harold Cummings & Rosalind Riddick

  • Colored Town (now Founders Town) - Concerned Citizens Committee of South Brevard. Joe McNeal
